Changing Can Be Hard For Some
“We crossed over to the United States not only for us but for you guys to have a better future and a good life”, that was a qoute my parents would say to my brothers and i, and everytime i hear them saying it, i always end up thinking on all the stupid stuff i did over the years of me growing up.
I come from a forgiving and loving family, what i mean is even though i always miss up in life my parents always end up forgiving me and loving me and i really messed up in life but that doesn't get to me because i know i still have my parents support. I was always interested in animals but i can honestly say that my dad helped me continued to be interested in animals, he would take me to out to farms to see them and he would always tell me stories about when he was in mexico and the animals he had in his farm over there. Also my dad told me one time that before my parents ended up getting a house my dad told me that they both spend time thinking either to just have a house or to have a ranch like my dad had over there in mexico but my dad was all for it but my mother wasn’t, if that would of happen i would of really had a bright future and would already have a pathway. I remember one time people would laugh at me because i would say i love helping animals and that i would want a job similar to this but now they don't because i found something that i love to do and hopefully be in this pathway to help me find a career i really enjoy.
My main goal is to finish high school in time so i can graduate with my class and attend college afterwards and follow my dream. My goal for the future is after high school is to move to Sacramento California and attend a community college called Cosumnes River College and get my Associate Degree and then transfer to Colorado State University or either to Fresno State to get my Bachelors Degree and hopefully by then have a ranch with all livestock and to have a Ornamental Horticulture spot in my ranch. I really like the fact that there are many Agriculture related colleges in California and since i love working with animals and that i can have a future career and go to college for it.
I would like to say that this may look easy to accomplish but for me it's going to be a challenge that i would love to take, so not only for me but to make my family proud and to laugh at all those people who told me i'm not going to graduate and for those who ever doubt be of being someone who i want to be in life. And also it will make me feel so great because even though throughout my years in school i would always mess up and get into trouble but if i do this right i would like to say even if you're a troublemaker like me,there's always a way to follow your dreams as long as you keep believing in yourself you can change yourself and do what you want to do for the rest of your life.
